About
Biography
Crystal is an experienced civil litigator whose practice focuses on commercial litigation, business and non-profit counseling, and strategic legal support for individuals, founders and creators. Known for her strategic thinking, strong advocacy, and practical approach to solving complex matters, she works with businesses and non-profit organizations on the legal issues that shape how they operate — contracts, corporate governance, employment matters, risk management, and the day-to-day questions that arise when running an organization. Her counseling work is informed by extensive litigation experience, and she brings a practical, real-world perspective to helping clients structure their affairs and make sound legal decisions before problems arise.
When clients need representation in court, she brings that same strategic perspective to the courtroom. Crystal represents clients in state and federal courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts across a range of complex commercial matters, including breach of contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, and employment disputes. Her clients have ranged from Fortune 500 companies to small and family-owned businesses, municipalities, and individuals across a broad range of industries.
In addition to her work with businesses and nonprofits, Crystal also represents individuals in matters involving workplace disputes, and she advises content creators in negotiating favorable brand deals that protect their work, compensation and long-term opportunities. As a creator herself, with a platform on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, Crystal advises creators on brand partnership agreements, usage rights, licensing, exclusivity, deliverables, and payment terms. She brings firsthand experience negotiating brand deals and helps creators understand, protect, and advocate for their interests before entering into creative partnerships.
Prior to co-founding this firm, Crystal practiced at an AmLaw 200 firm in Providence, Rhode Island, where she was a member of the firm's Litigation Group, a major New England firm handling complex commercial litigation matters, and a boutique Rhode Island firm handling municipal litigation matters. Outside of work, Crystal enjoys skiing, gardening, reading fantasy novels, and content creation. She lives in Warwick with her husband Diony, their cat Sammy, her 35+ houseplants, and, usually, 1 (or more) foster kitten(s).
